Today I feel that it is necessary to highlight the need to release anger. Anger serves fear or love, and it is up to us to choose. We always have a choice. Either we build up barriers and separate ourselves from love and our loved ones increasing our detachment from love or we can choose love and positivity. As we take the steps along the positive path, we find positive occurrences and relationships happening more frequently. Don't deny your emotions, just know that your feelings of being separated from loved ones are an illusion. You are loved and You love, in this moment everything is already healed.

It is natural to feel hurt, angry or sad when relationships of any sort are not going well.  We each have the ability to make things better, we just have to listen and learn from the actions and words of our loved ones.  We react with anger when we feel fear.  Instead of reacting without thinking we should act mindfully.  This is as easy as it sounds!  A few deep breaths can calm our minds and instill a state of balance and prevent our instinct to lash out with our words.  Listen, acknowledge and accept that this exchange is a necessary part of growth and development.

A few drops of Rescue Remedy can help us to cope with the anger, shock and stress of any situation where we need a helping hand.  There are also a number of essential oils that can help us during these times.  Basil helps to balance and clear the mind, opening the heart to the positive aspects of the human existence.  Benzoin helps us to embrace the teachings of our lessons, showing us the peace and understanding that can guide us to a positive outcome.  Bergamot, White Birch, Cedarwood and Chamomile are also helpful, nurturing the soul and bringing peace and understanding.

Spiritual protection is something that seems to be a buzz word at the moment. Protection is, of course, necessary when working as a light worker, medium and/or healer. Whilst working in altered states we need to ensure that we are shielded from negative energies. These negative energies are around us everyday and there are many methods, schools of thought and websites on the subject.

The need for the healer to have a solid, well founded spiritual awareness and a personal relationship with the spiritual source of being is essential because to act as a channel requires awareness and trust in that source and energy.  It is my developing awareness of the divine source that brought me to healing.  Having felt this presence, love and compassion of spirit I realised I wanted to help others.  “Tuning into” this energy is part of the attunement process for me.  Sitting quietly and feeling this energy, seeing it in my minds eye, using all of my senses to explore and expand my awareness.

I have been interested in “alternative” therapies for many years.  My grandmother used natural remedies when I needed them as a child and I have always preferred them to prescribed medicines.  Her applications of witch hazel, arnica cream, rescue remedy and lavender oil helped me and my friends with the knocks and scrapes of playing in the garden.
